Unlike other sleep consultants, I spent my career in Education and have many years of experience supporting hundreds of families and children and I am passionate about helping children thrive. During my time within Education, I taught throughout the primary phase ranging from 5-11 years old. I also hold the National Special Educational Needs Award qualification and have held the post of a Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCo) in various primary settings. I have extensive knowledge and skills in supporting children with a range of additional needs from Speech and Language to Autism and beyond. In the latter stages of my career, I was an Assistant Headteacher for Inclusion and I then went on to progress to a Deputy Headteacher. Coming from a background in Education, I also have extensive training in safeguarding, child mental health, behaviour management, Children Looked After and Attachment Theory too.
I left the world of Education to retrain in Sleep Consultancy after witnessing first-hand how sleep training transforms a family’s life for the better after the birth of my son.
Not only am I a trained baby and child sleep consultant, I have also extended my expertise and am also a certified Autism, Anxiety and Additional Needs Sleep Consultant. This enables me to support families of whose children struggle with their sleep as a result of an additional need/ special educational need.

Ready Steady Sleep Consultancy
I believe that all children are individual with different needs and as a result of this, all of my sleep support services are tailored and bespoke to every child and family. My support services are comprehensive and holistic and I believe working in partnership with parents and building a positive rapport is at the heart of improving a child's sleep. My aim is to help families instil good and healthy sleep habits and support parents in creating confident, content and independent sleepers in their children.
I offer a variety of sleep support services to meet the needs of babies/ children at different stages of development from new-born to 7 years. For all of my 1:1 sleep support packages, I only use gradual and responsive sleep training methods. I do not use Cry It Out methods.
With my support services, sleep training is a positive and confidence building experience for the whole family.
